Before we reveal our recommendations, it is important to know that there are way too many options in Taipei 101. They range from affordable to super fancy and spread across the 101 floors of the skyscraper.

First, if you want something quick and more affordable, head to floor B1. This is where the main food court is located. The food court has countless restaurants and vendors. From noodles and full meals to drinks, bakery and souvenir, you can find everything. Many Taiwanese that work nearby often come here for lunch during the day! Secondly, if you want something nicer, more exclusive, but won’t break the bank, there are a couple on the 4th and 5th floor. Finally, if you want to treat yourself to the absolute best fine dining in Taipei, you can head to 85th floor or higher. We will detail these restaurants in a separate section.

It offers a unique dining experience right beneath one of the world’s tallest buildings.

While it’s tempting to indulge in a meal at the Taipei 101 branch after visiting the observatory. Please be aware that this location can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours. If savoring Ding Tai Fung’s signature xiao long bao, shrimp fried rice, or braised pork rice is a must-do on your Taipei itinerary. We recommend considering one of their other branches in the Xinyi district. You’ll still get the same delicious food and impeccable service without the long queues. Another tip for you given the popularity of Ding Tai Fung in Taipei 101, we suggest making a reservation if you’re planning to dine there.
